Relationships and Sex Education (RSE)

Relationships and sex education is learning about the emotional, social and physical aspects of growing up, relationships, sex, sexuality and sexual health. It should support pupils gain accurate information, develop skills and form positive beliefs, values and attitudes.

At Kirkstall St Stephen's we know how essential this learning is to give pupils the essential skills for building positive, enjoyable, respectful, loving and non-exploitative relationships, staying safe both on and offline. Enabling them to take responsibility for their body, relationships, reproduction, sexual health and wellbeing.

Please feel free to drop in on Wednesday 7th June any time after school until 5pm to view the RSE planning. Attached is the programme of study we follow from Years 2-6 as well as the RSE policy. 

RSE week for Years 4 & 6 will begin the week commencing the 12th June.
