Global club visit to Abbey Grange

Some members of global club were lucky enough to go to Abbey grange High scholol and meet Roisin, a fairtrade cocoa farmer from Sierra Leone in West Africa. She told them all about the hardships of farming and also how fairtrade brings so many benefits. They now have a fair price for their cocoa which means she can send her children to school. They also have access to good water from a new well and solar panels to give electricity. Abbey Grange students had prepared some workshops for the children to learn more about fairtrade.
