Eco Council

Meet the Eco-Council

Hello! We are the Eco-Council. We meet once a half term to review ideas and plan for future actions for ways to make our school 'greener' and more sustainable. We take meter readings every few months to check that we are reducing energy use by working with Mr. Reed and changing to LED bulbs, turning lights and gadgets off and encouraging everyone to walk instead of using cars and buses. Look out for us weighing your classroom black bins because the class with the least waste over a half term will have an extra playtime! We give out stickers to people we see using the correct bins on the playground.
