Next half term, our History and Geography lessons will focus on Industrial Leeds. We’ll explore how Leeds grew during the Industrial Revolution, from a small market town to a bustling industrial city. Children will learn about the impact of mills, factories, and canals on the local area, and discover what life was like for workers and families during this time. We’ll also look at how geography influenced Leeds' development and what traces of the industrial past we can still see today. It promises to be a fascinating journey into our city’s rich heritage!
