Relationships and sex education is learning about the emotional, social and physical aspects of growing up, relationships, sex, sexuality and sexual health. It should support pupils gain accurate information, develop skills and form positive beliefs, values and attitudes.
At Kirkstall St Stephen's we know how essential this learning is to give pupils the essential skills for building positive, enjoyable, respectful, loving and non-exploitative relationships, staying safe both on and offline. Enabling them to take responsibility for their body, relationships, reproduction, sexual health and wellbeing.
Thank you to all of the parents and carers who read the Relationship and sex education (RSE) policy and answered the questionnaire. All of your views have been taken on board, please do not hesitate to contact school through email if you have more questions regarding the policy.
