Pretending to be NASA engineers and making rockets

We had a great time working in groups to make rockets out of junk - it was messy but fun! We designed our rocket looking at the materials available and these are the results.

Making alien slime!

We had fun making alien slime and working out which planet the alien who'd left it had visited.

Year 2 launch rockets into space!

We had great fun making rockets and then launching them in the playground. We found if you added an alka seltzer tablet to some water in an old film capsule the reaction made the rocket shoot up in the sky!!

Year 2's visit to church

Year 2 enjoyed their visit to church to baptise 'baby' Isabel Rosie, as well as some cake after the ceremony!

Year 2 enjoy a music workshop

Year 1 and 2 enjoyed a music performance about Skylar and her piano. Then Y2 had their own workshop learning about pitch, tempo, dynamics and rhythm.
