The day a lamb visited Reception.

On Wednesday 28th March Reception class had a special visitor! We were very excited to have a lamb in our class. We all gave it a stroke and asked questions about what it ate, how old it was and why it had marks on it's back. Some of the children took it to the other classes to tell them what we had found out. Well done to all the reception children for their amazing performance in the sharing assembly.

Abbey Park

Reception went on a winter walk to Abbey Park looking for signs of winter. We saw grey clouds and trees without any leaves. Unfortunately, we didn't see any snow or ice so we collected sticks to take back to school to paint white and add glitter to look like snow.

Winter Topic

Last half term our topic was winter. We used money to buy items from our winter shop that sold hats, scarves and gloves, made Arctic animal masks, role played going ice fishing, made winter pictures, snowflakes and snowmen!
